Resident Diesel Technician Full Time

Your role on our team:CLAAS Resident Technicians support customers with complex on-site diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance tasks (field and customer shop). This role provides expert level customer service to ensure the highest degree of customer experience and satisfaction. The position acts autonomously within company guardrails with an entrepreneurial spirit and represents the CLAAS brand as an ambassador. All Resident Technicians will be provided with fully-equipped service trucks.


  • Responsible for performing complex on-site diagnostics, service, repairs, and maintenance work on customer CLAAS equipment; in-shop repairs will need to be completed according to business needs. 
  • Reviews and explains any maintenance, repair, or other service concerns directly to the customer and documents on work order.
  • May establish and implement effective stocking processes with the Parts Department to maintain the proper seasonal parts inventory.
  • Supports Machinery Set-Up and Adjustments.
  • Promotes and sells service programs directly to assigned customers.
  • Maintains current mechanical and technical knowledge of CLAAS and competitive products.
  • Completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments timely and proficiently. Including accounting for time and material used in performing assigned duties.
  • In collaboration with our Technical Support Center, schedule daily work assignments.
  • Extensive working hours may be required in peak times under changing environments. 
  • Adheres to established company values, practices, policies and procedures at all times. Follows and supports compliance with all applicable safety rules, laws, regulations and standards.
  • Demonstrates regular and punctual attendance at the assigned work location.

Note:  This position includes frequent travel by auto; a valid driver’s license with a verifiably safe driving history is required. Position may require overnight travel and weekend or evening work during peak seasons.
Your profile:
  • Ag Diesel Technology Degree highly preferred, or degree in Diesel Technology or equivalent work experience.
  • Prior experience in high visibility customer facing role required incl. troubleshooting methods and tools.
  • Working knowledge of CLAAS equipment and parts, a plus.
  • Independent in completing assigned tasks and solid ad-hoc decision making competences. 
  • Must be able to work efficiently and autonomously.
  • High affinity to always put the customer and their needs first; ability to make sound recommendations on service and maintenance work for CLAAS equipment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret parts and machine schematics.
  • Ability to travel within region and to be able to work with limited supervision.
  • Ability to safely operate large machinery.  
  • Must be able to meet deadlines and handle a high volume workload in a fast-paced environment with a strong attention to detail.

Parts Coordinator Full Time

Your role on our team:The Parts Coordinator promotes and sells parts to all customers, both internal and external, while providing excellent customer service at all times. The position coordinates the Parts Runner schedule(s) to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness of parts distribution to field technicians and customers.

  • Fills customer and shop parts orders timely and accurately.
  • Provides excellent customer service to inside and outside customers needing parts and service.
  • Assembles new hydraulic hoses and repairs old ones, as required.
  • Pulls, coordinates, and schedules freight shipments timely.
  • Ships and receives parts for customer orders / ships and receives equipment as required.
  • Assists customers and shop personnel with parts look up and parts orders.
  • Coordinates parts runner schedules in accordance to Service & Customers’ needs. 
  • Parts delivery to customers or other company locations as needed.
  • Processes and stocks ordered parts as needed and inspects and processes remanufactured parts and returns.
  • Preforms periodic inventory control (cycle counting) and storeroom organization.
  • Timely processes returns from shop and customers.
  • Adheres to established company values, practices, policies and procedures at all times. Follows and supports compliance with all
  • applicable safety rules, laws, regulations and standards. 
  • Demonstrates regular and punctual attendance at the assigned work location. 

Note:  This position includes frequent travel by auto; valid driver’s license with a verifiably safe driving history is required. Position may require occasional overnight travel and weekend or evening work

Your profile:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.  
  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred, not required.
  • 2+ years parts or parts sales and / or parts counter experience, required.
  • Working knowledge of CLAAS parts, a plus.
  • Warehouse experience highly preferred.
  • Farm background desirable.
  • Ability to read and interpret parts and machine schematics desirable.
  • Must be self-sufficient with a proven ability to work independently and a strong willingness to learn.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills both technically and professionally
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to safely operate forklift and other large machinery / must be able to pass and maintain a valid forklift certification.
  • Ability to multi-task and follow through with defined tasks.
  • Must be able to meet deadlines and handle a high volume workload in a fast-paced environment with a strong attention to detail.

Customer Account Manager Full Time

Your role on our team: 
The Customer Account Manager is responsible for identifying and developing new accounts, retaining customers, growing revenue and strengthening the overall relationship with existing customers. This role plays a pivotal role in liaising between internal departments such as parts, service, finance, etc. to ensure a holistic support for accounts / customers within the assigned territory. The position develops the sales territory for future growth and maintains relationships within given guidelines and provides after sales product follow-up and supports equipment operations as needed:​
  • Responsible for identifying and developing new accounts, retaining customers, growing revenue and strengthening the overall relationship with existing customers. 
  • Responsible for the attainment of targeted retail (new and used equipment) and service sales and the promotion of products and customer relations for the company within assigned territory.
  • Responds to customer queries and identify new business opportunities among existing customers.
  • Role with actively liaise with cross-functional internal teams to improve the entire customer experience.
  • Strategically supports accounts / customers in finding the best solution for their farm based on their circumstances and needs
  • Outbound pro-active calling to identify new opportunities/applications, initiate sales campaigns, reach decision makers, and collect competitive intelligence.
  • Managing and building up the relationship along the entire customer lifecycle (sales – new and used, service, parts) with focus and understanding of the customers’ needs.
  • Responsible for the implementation of approved marketing tools to strengthen product and market knowledge to improve retail sales results.
  • Responsible for customer relationship management, including factory visits; or assists with coordination of field demonstrations and trainings.
  • Achieves and/or exceeds annual marketing plan while meeting goals within allocated budget guidelines.
  • Adheres to established company values, practices, policies and procedures at all times. Follows and supports compliance with all applicable safety rules, laws, regulations and standards. 
  • Demonstrates regular and punctual attendance at the assigned work location.

Note:  This position includes extensive travel – a valid driver’s license with verifiable continuous safe driving history is required.
Some extensive stays may be required in support of marketing and farm show activities during peak seasons.  
Your profile:
  • 4 year College Degree in Agriculture or related field or equivalent experience, required.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in large machinery sales or experienced marketing capacity with agricultural equipment manufacturer, preferred.
  • Must have solid knowledge about farming business and the economics that drives farmers’ decision making..
  • Prior experience using CRM tools (e.g. salesforce) to document customer touch points and build account pipelines.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent problem analysis and problem solving skill set.
  • Knowledge of CLAAS products and retail finance process a plus.
  • Must be able to meet deadlines and handle a high volume workload in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
